M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Second set of Bridgestone on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
