Description

Master your journey, awaken your senses. Bridgestone Potenza Sport is a high-performance tyre that enables you to maximise the full potential of your vehicle and continue on your journey in complete control.

Tread design, reinforcement & carcass

Sporty profile shape & tread compound

Rib distribution, sipes & tread compound

The rib and void distribution of the tread design evacuates water faster and relies on stiff 3D sipes to boost cornering and braking power. The optimised tread compound formula contributes to the excellent wet grip
Outsanding wet performance (EU Label Grade A)
Sporty profile shape grants stability and the innovative tread compound increases grip to deliver outstanding braking performance
Maintain stability in a straight line and curve
Shortest braking distance on a dry surface
Asymmetrical tread design, new reinforcement technology and optimised carcass maximise stability for controlled cornering precision and increased steering response

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Great value for money
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Very quiet on tarmac. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Quiet and comfortable
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Potenza Sport grips well on dry roads. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Better than expected
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Does exactly what a summer tyre should.

Better than expected
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in.

Happy with the purchase
My mechanic recommended Bridgestone and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Potenza Sport genuinely surprised me.
