The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.
Optimised pattern design:
High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and fine-tuned distribution of void in centre part of the pattern guarantees water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.
Improved carcass:
The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement ensure a superior handling and a reduced rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
New compound mixing technology:
New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.
- Superior wear life
- Superb label grades
- Superb wet adhesion

- Reto B.29.06.20265.0 / 5
Does the job well
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Comfortable over rough surfaces. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
- Lotte L.12.04.20265.0 / 5
Impressed so far
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain.
- Lotte L.24.09.20254.0 / 5
Would buy again
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Turanza T 005 grips well on dry roads. Stable and precise in summer heat.
- Andreas B.20.07.20255.0 / 5
Fine tyre, minor niggles
Reliable summer rubber. No surprises, which is exactly what I want. Does the job, nothing more.
