Description

The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.

Optimised pattern design:

High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and optimized distribution of void in centre part of the pattern ensures water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.

Improved carcass:

The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement guarantee a superior handling and a reduced rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

New compound mixing technology:

New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.

    Nice upgrade

    Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.

    Handles well

    Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Stable and precise in summer heat.
