M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Worth the money
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The CrossContact H/T grips well on dry roads. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Very quiet on tarmac. The CrossContact H/T made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Bought a full set of Continental for the family car. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
