XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

My mechanic recommended Continental and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
