With the new UltraContact, Continental therefore now offers a summer tyre with very high mileage and the usual safety standards. To achieve this, the tyre developers have redesigned the compound and tread to combine maximum mileage with safe driving characteristics, low rolling resistance and low noise emission.

Worth the money
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Good balance of comfort and handling. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Braking feels secure
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Solid everyday tyre.

Better than expected
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
