UltraContact – precise summer handling with short braking distances
With the new UltraContact, Continental therefore now offers a summer tyre with very high mileage and the usual safety standards. To achieve this, the tyre developers have redesigned the compound and tread to combine maximum mileage with safe driving characteristics, low rolling resistance and low noise emission.

Quiet and comfortable
Switched from a budget brand to the UltraContact — the difference in braking is obvious. Bought a full set of Continental for the family car. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Handles well
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Stable and precise in summer heat.
