With the new UltraContact, Continental therefore now offers a summer tyre with very high mileage and the usual safety standards. To achieve this, the tyre developers have redesigned the compound and tread to combine maximum mileage with safe driving characteristics, low rolling resistance and low noise emission.

Very happy with these
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Balanced and predictable. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.

Better than expected
Second set of Continental on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.
