What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
- 3PMSF

Decent for the price
Does exactly what a winter tyre should. Happy with the purchase. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
