- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
- 3PMSF

Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Comfortable over rough surfaces. Holds well in snow and slush.

For this price I didn't expect much, but the WinterContact TS 870 P genuinely surprised me. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Not the last word in steering feel.
