This tyre has a special sipe design, which interlocks when force is applied and guarantees good grip on snow. Furthermore, the number of sipes in the tread has been increased, resulting in improved performance when braking and accelerating. Zig-zag recess design on the inner side of the tread blocks guarantees good braking performance on snow.
As well as excellent grip on ice and snow, the tyre also performs well in wet weather. The directional tread has been combined with a special polymer compound. This remains rigid over a broad temperature range, thus generating good grip on wet roads. It also contributes towards a reduction in roll resistance and, therefore, a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Solid winter tyre
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
