What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Fortuna delivers again
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain.

Better than expected
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well.

Strong performer
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Gowin UHP 2 genuinely surprised me. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

A step up from my old set
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Very happy with these
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Gowin UHP 2 grips well on dry roads. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
