XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

My mechanic recommended General and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Nice upgrade
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
