The deformation of the tread blocks has been minimised and stiffness specifically increased to maximise cornering stability. The block inclination angle of the outer groove, which bears the highest loads during cornering, has been fine-tuned to 30°.

The transverse grooves, which are deliberately not connected to the main tread grooves, increase the tyre’s contact patch and enhance block stiffness. This guarantees stable cornering even at high speeds.

The transverse grooves are designed to have greater width and depth towards the outside to guarantee balanced performance on dry and wet roads. Where the transverse groove begins, there are connecting ribs that interlock the tread blocks. This reduces block movement and improves cornering stability.

As the first model in the Hankook Tire range, this tyre utilises a combination of liquid and solid resins. This compound is typically used in racing tyres and has a high softening point, enabling grip at the highest level.
