What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Great on the motorway
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped.

Nice upgrade
Good in town and on the motorway alike. Versatile tyre. Very quiet on tarmac. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Fitted and forgotten
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump.

All-round good pick
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Good grip in the wet
Switched from a budget brand to the All Season — the difference in braking is obvious.

Does what it says
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable all-season tyre without overspending. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
