What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Happy with the purchase
Very quiet on tarmac. The All Season Master made my commute noticeably more relaxed. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these.

Worth the money
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Bought on price, staying for the quality. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Very happy with these
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Great on the motorway
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel.
