Fine tyre, minor niggles
Good winter tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Solid winter tyre
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Schneekette Marathon 212734 genuinely surprised me.

Handles well
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. Holds well in snow and slush. Not the last word in steering feel.
