What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Very happy with these
My mechanic recommended Ovation and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling.

Impressed so far
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Very happy with these
Very quiet on tarmac. The W586 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Early days, but first impressions are very good. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Trusted Ovation quality
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel. Comfortable over rough surfaces. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Very happy with these
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Very quiet on tarmac.

Would buy again
Switched from a budget brand to the W586 — the difference in braking is obvious. Solid everyday tyre. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
