- Less negative profile for more grip and traction
- Central tread groove for improved cooling and noise control
- Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity
As a summer tyre, the Proxes R 888-R is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.
Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

Does the job well
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Bought a full set of Toyo for the family car. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Okay for everyday driving
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. Good in town and on the motorway alike.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
My mechanic recommended Toyo and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Stable and precise in summer heat.
- Emma F.01.08.20254.0 / 5
Better than expected
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Very happy with these
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
