Uniroyal has opted for an asymmetrical tread pattern that ensures rapid water dispersion when driving in the rain and delivers safe handling on dry roads. As in its sporty relative, the RainSport 3, the rain tire developers have opted for Shark Skin Technology that ensures faster displacement of water from under the contact patch. This is accompanied by a flow-optimized tread structure and a tread compound developed for strong wet grip.
In both braking and handling in the wet, the new RainExpert 3 provides a four percent improvement over its predecessor, while recording a five percent improvement in rolling resistance and in even wear.

Fitted and forgotten
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Does the job, nothing more.
- Felix K.18.03.20265.0 / 5
Trusted Uniroyal quality
The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
- Marco S.16.03.20264.0 / 5
Strong performer
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these.
- Sandra L.28.01.20265.0 / 5
Worth the money
Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Happy with the purchase.
- Daniel G.24.10.20254.0 / 5
Okay for everyday driving
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
- Ingrid M.30.06.20255.0 / 5
Happy with the purchase
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Stable and precise in summer heat.
