What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Good grip in the wet
Switched from a budget brand to the Quatrac Pro 2 — the difference in braking is obvious. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
