What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Better than expected
My mechanic recommended Wanli and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Fitted them at a mate's garage. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Great value for money
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. For this price I didn't expect much, but the SW611 genuinely surprised me. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Does what it says
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since.

Very happy with these
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Better than expected
For this price I didn't expect much, but the SW611 genuinely surprised me. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Not the last word in steering feel.
