Designed for the cold season, this tyre combines a winter compound with a tread pattern that packs snow for grip and clears slush quickly. Steering and braking stay reassuring on icy and snow-covered roads.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.

Quality you can feel
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Advan Winter V907 grips well on dry roads. Does exactly what a winter tyre should. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
