M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Switched from a budget brand to the Geolandar A/T4 G018 RPB — the difference in braking is obvious.

Very quiet on tarmac. The Geolandar A/T4 G018 RPB made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Not the last word in steering feel.
