What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Better than expected
Good all-season tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Does the job, nothing more. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Great value for money
Third car I've run on Toyo. Consistent quality every time. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Good, not perfect
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Nice upgrade
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Does the job well
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable all-season tyre without overspending. Does exactly what a all-season tyre should.
