As a summer tyre, the Proxes Sport 2 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fair tyre for the money
Switched from a budget brand to the Proxes Sport 2 — the difference in braking is obvious. Bought a full set of Toyo for the family car. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
