Description

The Ultra High Performance Snowprox S954 winter tyre guarantees balanced, sporty driving on wet and snowy roads.

Certified for severe winter conditions (3PMSF alpine symbol)
M+S marking for mud and snow
Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity
Integrated rim protection strip against kerb damage
Strong wet grip (class B)

Designed for the cold season, this tyre combines a winter compound with a tread pattern that packs snow for grip and clears slush quickly. Steering and braking stay reassuring on icy and snow-covered roads.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Impressed so far
Good in town and on the motorway alike. Versatile tyre. Holds well in snow and slush. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Pleasantly surprised
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Good tyre overall. Holds well in snow and slush. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Braking feels secure
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Good tyre overall. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Braking feels secure
Second set of Toyo on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Fitted before a long road trip.

Quality you can feel
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Third car I've run on Toyo.
