With its AAA (¹) rating on the EU label, the VanContact A/S Eco combines superb Fuel efficiency, safety and comfort in a single product. For a quiet and comfortable driving experience, the VanContact A/S Eco features a specially developed tread pattern that helps to reduce road noise. Its evenly distributed tread segments produce a soft hum. This noticeably reduces tyre rolling noise, thereby enhancing overall comfort, particularly in urban environments and on long journeys.

Ready for every season

As true all-season tyres, the VanContact A/S Eco offers dependable safety in wet and snowy conditions and changing weather. Rolling resistance has been reduced whilst maintaining braking performance in snow – a balance that is extremely rare in this category. The tread pattern, which opens out towards the shoulders, enables rapid water drainage and delivers additional traction. This results in shorter braking distances and stable handling in all seasons.

Legal information:

EU label Class A for Fuel efficiency, wet braking and noise. Class A is the highest possible rating in all three categories. The EU Tyre Label scale ranges from A to E for Fuel efficiency and wet braking, and from A to C for noise.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Impressed so far
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
