M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Braking feels secure
Very quiet on tarmac. The VanContact A/S Ultra made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Wet braking is excellent.

Great value for money
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
