M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Okay for everyday driving
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
