What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Better than expected
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Very happy with these
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Fair tyre for the money
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Euroallseason AS-220 genuinely surprised me. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Braking feels secure
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Had them fitted last month. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
