Description

The high-performance winter tyre for challenging road conditions offers excellent grip on snowy, wet and dry roads. The Snow-Catcher-Technology is a special arrangement of the tread grooves in the middle area. This compresses the snow and provides an optimal basis for good grip. The "Bubble Blade" composite slat technology enables excellent winter performance with good profile stability at the same time.

Strong dry performance on winter roads
High mileage
Superb control on snow

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fitted and forgotten
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

A step up from my old set
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Ordered online, fitted locally. Not the last word in steering feel.

Fair tyre for the money
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
