What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Very happy with these
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
