What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Good, not perfect
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The i FIT VAN LY31 grips well on dry roads. Does the job, nothing more.

Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The i FIT VAN LY31 grips well on dry roads. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.
