The VS5 is a completely new development in the Ultra High Performance range with all technical refinements which the most demanding products of this segment can be considered. Starting with a mature full-silica tread which allows best wet handling properties, an innovative profile design with variable longitudinal grooves of the tire still has other properties that these new UHP tires to an absolute peak-product make.

Okay for everyday driving
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.

Impressed so far
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.

Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Comfortable over rough surfaces. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
