Nokian Tyres Snowproof 2 is a safe and dependable premium winter tire for Central European passenger car drivers. The tire’s most important feature is outstanding winter safety in all conditions, resulting in excellent performance on snow, slush, and rain. Whether you drive on speedy autobahns, busy urban tra ffic, or scenic Alpine roads, driving feels controlled and predictable.
The Alpine Sense Grip 2.0 consists of a new, V-shaped tread pattern, 3D siping and Alpine Grip 2.0 compound. The tread design e ffectively removes snow and slush from between the tire and the road while the tailored, 3D siping ensures superb lateral and longitudinal grip. The Alpine Grip 2.0 compound tackles the demanding and cold winter conditions, while o ffering superb performance in milder weather. It responds reliably to the rise and drop of temperature, as the compound stays flexible and grippy in a wide condition range. The new compound also comes with high silica content, which results in a better wet grip. The rolling resistance is also on a premium level, which generates energy savings and reduces harmful emissions.
To provide maximum comfort and first-class safety, the tread area of the tire is divided into two functional zones. The Dual Zone Safety concept consists of the Grip Zone, which guarantees impressive winter grip, and the Handling Zone, which offers control and stability. Designed to prevent dangerous aquaplaning, the Hydroflow Grooves on the tread will e ffectively remove water and slush from between the tire and the road.

Pleasantly surprised
Second set of Nokian Tyres on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Holds well in snow and slush.

Trusted Nokian Tyres quality
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Not the last word in steering feel.
