Solving the target conflict between dry and winter performance aspects Uniroyal developed a well balanced pattern which offers stability as well as winter performance features. The special geometry of blocks and a multifunctional sipe concept deliver enhanced snow compression and excellent braking performance on both snowy and dry roads.

Precise steering response and controlled handling on dry roads:

A stable middle rib and wide shoulder blocks improve handling performance and stabilisation during side forces.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Uniroyal delivers again
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Quality you can feel
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Had these through a full season now. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
