Description

Directional winter tyre for mid-size vehicles and SUVs

A safe driving feeling at high speeds
Reduced heat generation in the underrubber
New rubber compound with micro-silica and orange oil
Good drainage properties in wet and snow conditions
Wide bevelled profile grooves and variable edges on the side grooves

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Smooth ride
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Great on the motorway
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Pleasantly surprised
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. They're okay.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
For this price I didn't expect much, but the BluEarth-Winter (V905) genuinely surprised me. Fitted them at a mate's garage.
