As a summer tyre, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

    Great value for money

    Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

    Confidence in corners

    Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Switched from a budget brand to the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 — the difference in braking is obvious. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.
