Description

The Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV summer tyre must be resilient if it is to perform at its best on both dry and wet roads. The EfficientGrip SUV also features a rubber compound that tends to reduced rolling resistance and three-dimensional sipes that promote shorter braking distances.

Improved steering accuracy and handling:

Responsive steering and handling thanks to the EfficientGrip SUV's lower weight and design optimised for cornering resistance.

Long life:

The EfficientGrip SUV offers you higher mileage, extending the time until your next tyre change. The silica tread compound ensures longer life and saves money.

Shorter braking distances when it counts:

Shorter braking distances on wet roads.* Special traction resins in the tread provide improved grip when braking on wet surfaces. The tread pattern features three-dimensional shoulder sipes that increase grip when braking on dry roads.* Compared to the average performance of 3 well-known competitors. Braking distance on wet road from 80km/h to 20km/h, braking distance on dry road from 100 km/h to 0km/h, measured by TÜV SÜD Automotive in Sep-Oct 2011 on behalf of Goodyear; Tyre size: 215/65R16 98H; Vehicle: VW Tiguan 2.0 TDI; Location: Mireval (FR) & Garching (GE); Report no.: 76247158

Fuel-efficient design:

Cut your fuel costs with the EfficientGrip SUV. Goodyear’s FuelSaving technology combines a lightweight structure with advanced materials that reduce rolling resistance.

    Braking feels secure

Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Stable and precise in summer heat.
