The UltraGrip 8 Performance delivers superior grip and braking on hard-packed snow, thanks to the integration of three different types of sipes. The saw-shaped central rib works like a snowplow, grabbing onto surface snow for extra traction.

The UltraGrip 8 Performance features a large contact patch that improves handling on ice. The silica tread compound maintains good grip at low temperatures.

Special hydrodynamic tread grooves quickly channel water away from the tire surface, helping you keep control on wet or slushy roads.

The tire’s low-weight construction reduces rolling resistance, lowering your vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

    Goodyear delivers again

    Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

    Good grip in the wet

    Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

    Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

    Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
