The UltraGrip 8 Performance provides superior grip and braking on hard-packed snow, thanks to the integration of three different types of sipes. The saw-shaped central rib works like a snowplow, grabbing onto surface snow for extra traction.

The UltraGrip 8 Performance features a large contact patch that improves handling on ice. The silica tread compound maintains good grip at low temperatures.

Special hydrodynamic tread grooves quickly channel water away from the tire surface, helping you keep control on wet or slushy roads.

The tire’s low-weight construction reduces rolling resistance, lowering your vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

    Happy with the purchase

    Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

    A step up from my old set

    Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Second set of Goodyear on this car. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
