Description

The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3 is a high-performance winter tire designed for use on passenger cars and SUVs. It is designed to provide outstanding traction and handling in snowy and icy conditions, as well as on wet roads.

The tire features an asymmetric tread pattern that is optimized for wet and dry performance. It has a high silica content in the tread compound to improve traction on wet and slippery surfaces, while also enhancing handling and braking performance. The UltraGrip Performance 3 also incorporates Goodyear's 3D BIS Technology, which uses interlocking block structures to provide enhanced stability and grip on snow and ice. Additionally, the tire has a V-shaped tread design that helps to channel water and slush away from the contact patch, reducing the risk of hydroplaning.

Outstanding Snow Performance:

Grooves at the shoulder end improves grip on soft and deep snow.

Improved braking:

Enhanced braking and handling on snow due to enhanced sipe arrangement and higher sipe density.

Strong Wet Performance:

Better water dispersion for superb grip on wet. Water is pushed out to the side rather than to the front, which means less water in front of the tire.

    Pleasantly surprised

    Second set of Goodyear on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. My mechanic recommended Goodyear and he was right. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

    Nice upgrade

    Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Switched from a budget brand to the Ultra Grip Performance 3 — the difference in braking is obvious.

    All-round good pick
