Description

This tyre combines Goodyear's longstanding experience in developing high-performance winter tyres.

A stable profile design is required for good drying performance. On snow and ice, on the other hand, flexible blocks are desirable, as only these allow the necessary proper movement to form the gripping edges through the slats.

Goodyear's unique SnowProtect Technology optimally solves these contrary requirements: the 3-dimensional slats lock in the upper area for good stability when new.

In the run-up state, flexible 2-dimensional slats remain for good performance on snow.

This tyre can only be used on cars featuring a tyre pressure check system.

M+S
Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

    Fitted and forgotten

    Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

    Does what it says

    Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

    Recommended

    Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Very quiet on tarmac. Holds well in snow and slush.
