What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Recommended
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.

Smooth ride
Bought a full set of Nokian Tyres for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
